These storied Glee Clubs will face off once again, carrying on a tradition over 100 years old. This year’s Football Concert will feature performances by PUGC and HGC, a combined piece, skits, college songs and more!

YALE AND RUTGERS @ PRINCETON

Our 106th annual collaboration with the Yale Glee Club also includes the Rutgers Glee Club in honor of the centenary of the first football game between Princeton and Rutgers. This historic collaboration will feature rousing performances by all three choirs, a combined piece, traditional college songs and more!

Psalm project c20: Stravinsky, macmillan, pärt and reich

This program will feature psalm settings all written in the last century but richly different in the soundscapes they create— Arvo Pärt’s Da Pacem Domine, Steve Reich’s Tehilim, James MacMillan’s Miserere, and Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms.

For our second Glee Club Presents event of the year, this American professional choir will perform alongside the Princeton Glee Club and Chamber Choir. The program will include several premieres, including pieces written by Princeton undergraduates!

CHAMBER CHOIR: liberté

The Princeton Chamber Choir will sing a program featuring Poulenc’s monumental 12-voice cantata Figure Humaine. Known for its vocal acrobatics and ode to Liberté, Figure Humaine is considered by many to be Poulenc’s best work.

During Princeton University’s Reunion weekend, Glee Club alumni and current members will gather in the balcony of Richardson auditorium to sing Tallis’ 40-part motet Spem in Alium for the 10th consecutive year!
